Matt K.,

There is street parking right on Empire Street, but it can fill up. There's also street parking around the area; I usually can find a spot within a block or two by circling the vicinity once or twice. There's also a parking garage right next to Trinity Rep at the corner of Washington and Aborn that isn't too expensive, and it's very close.

Here's the big Providence Parking Map: http://www.providenceri.com/transportation/parkingmap.html

[...] Paul Badger, creator of the Arduino-compatible Bare Bones Board, is speaking at tonight’s Providence Geek Dinner. Come early (4:30pm), build a Bare Bones Board (kits will be available for $15, and we’ll have soldering stations on hand and knowledgeable people around to help you if you’re new to this), and get a chance to win a copy of Making Things Talk (winner drawn at random from among the people who build a kit). We’ll be shutting the soldering irons off at 5:30pm sharp, so give yourself plenty of time to come by and make one. More information on the Providence Geek Dinner and to RSVP - Link [...]
